25th Anniversary Show
Formed in 1986 the west coast influenced Rock/Blues outfit
Bad Influence quickly made a name for themselves at the legendary Marquee Club.
24 years and 6 albums later they still feature the Bonnie Raitt sound-alike
vocalist and guitarist Val Cowell and brilliant slide player Richard Hayes.
The band line-up is completed by the stellar rhythm section of Harry ‘H’
James (Thunder/Magnum) and Pete Stroud on bass (Peter Green/Buddy Whittington).
Promoting their brand new and best ever album ‘Carousel’ Bad Influence
owe their enduring popularity to a mix of superb musicianship, killer songs,
Val Cowell’s charisma and a set list that pulls together such favourites
as Tom Petty, Rory Gallagher, John Fogerty, Janis Joplin, The Doobie Brothers,
The Dixie Chicks and Bonnie Raitt!
With airplay on the Paul Jones show on BBC Radio 2 for the best CD of their
career, Bad Influence remain rock fans favourite club outfit simply because
as critics have noted, ‘they do what they do so well’!
