Canned Heat have played at the Worcester Park Club, headlining the 4th Anniversary Blues Festival. This was shortly after being signed to Mystic Records for the "Canned Heat Blues Band" album. They also played at several other venues promoted by Pete Feenstra, like the Empire, the Bottom Line, Wilbaryson and The Fairfield Halls in Croydon.
WALTER TROUT has played Worcester Park Club several times.
The significance of Live in Oz is that when Bob Hite died, the band itself was all but dead. But the excitement caused by Walter Trout on their Australian tour reactivated them - especially as the late Henry Vestine was not really with it at that time.
So here's a great collector's item from April 1981 - Canned Heat Live in Oz
