Carl Verheyen, Supertramp's guitarist who was also voted the World's 5th best guitar player, brings his Berklee School of Music Band to the Bull's Head Barnes on Thursday 31st July. One of the world's greatest guitar players in an intimate setting!

A top session player in LA, Carl divides his time between Master guitar clinics, world tours with Supertramp and a growing solo career that includes his recent album "Atlas Overload" on Provogue records.

A contemporary of Walter Trout, but a different kind of stylist, Carl hails from Pasadena, California and is a graduate of the famed Berklee School of Music in Boston.

His career has included stints with the very best in the jazz, blues and rock field, including Glenn Frey from the Eagles; the word's greatest bass player Stanley Clarke; bluesman Robben Ford and jazzers Dave Grusin and Ronnie Laws.

In 1996 Carl won the prestigious LA Music Awards category of best Guitarist, while Guitar Magazine called him "One of the top undiscovered guitar players in the World." More recently Carl has been working with John Fogarty, before cutting three albums for Provogue including the current "Atlas Overload".

An intuitive player with both feel and rare technique, Carl was snapped up by
Supertramp 10 years ago. In fact his next gig following the WPC will be at the Albert Hall with the aforementioned band.

However, the WPC show was an exclusive opportunity to catch one of the world's great guitarists up front and personal.
