play Jethro Tull

‘The band might even fool me on a good night’ - Ian Anderson
Jethro Tull is one of Britain’s most celebrated eclectic
rock bands. Still led by Ian Anderson on flute/vocals they
mixed art rock, classical, Prog Rock, folk, eastern and jazz influences into
a blues format that later led to some incredible self penned hits and timeless
tracks such as such as ‘Living in the Past’, ‘The Witches
Promise’, ‘Thick as a Brick’, ‘Aqualung’, ‘Life
is a Long Song’, ‘Bouree’ and ‘Locomotive Breath’.
THE DAYGLO PIRATES play early Jethro Tull from the classic
‘This Was’ & ‘Stand Up’ albums onwards via ‘Aqualung’
& ‘Thick As A Brick’ to ‘Song From The Wood’.
The band is led by the incredible Paul ‘Songs from the’ Forrest
on vocals, flute, acoustic guitar, mandolin, special relativity, turning water
into wine etc...
The Dayglo Pirates also achieved their own seal of authenticity when founder
member Ian Anderson played with them and congratulated them on their musicianship.
They have toured Europe and have appeared and been rebooked at the Jethro Tull
Convention. Simply amazing!
The Dayglo Pirates are
Paul (Songs from the) Forrest - vocals, flute, acoustic guitar, mandolin, special relativity, turning water into wine etc…
Simon `Lancelot' Taylor - lead guitar, turning up to eleven, twin lead recorders, thunder tray, backing vocals
Grahammond Burgess - organs of various shapes and sizes (some swelling), goose bothering
