An evening to remember…
Check them LIVE
at the Prince of Wales Theatre June 2007
Desperado feature real Eagle Don Felder’s guitarist Nick Mellor as part of a six piece ensemble comprising former Danny Steel Orchestra/Doobie Others members who play a spell binding, 2 set, full production ‘Best of the Eagles’ show.
Eagles music is simply timeless, appealing to audiences of every age, bringing back memories and touching the hearts and souls of each new generation… As THE band prepare to release their first new studio album in 27yrs – Their new single “How Long” already gives testament to the longevity of their unique feel good effect…
There are, currently circling the UK, several very fine Eagles tributes, indeed salutes, to this pantheon of Californian Sunshine Rock, but Desperado, just like the Queen of Hearts, is always your best bet…
Evolving from The Long Run, (a fine posse of outlaws themselves)
Desperado are a six piece ensemble of accomplished musicians from the UK. The
sum of these parts creates a truly superb homage to the originals, such that
you could just believe you ARE standing on that street corner in Winslow Arizona,
or on that dark desert highway. The show - 2 hours plus - including ALL the
classics will fly by, and feature unsurpassable sweet vocal harmonies layered
over note perfect guitar breaks, licks, slides, and solos. Furthermore, the
boys usually dip into the solo careers of Henley & Walsh, adding beautifully
to the total experience…
The special 2 set show includes: "Witchy Woman", "Lyin Eyes/Take
it Easy", "Best of my Love", "I Can't Tell You Why",
"Tequila Sunrise", "New Kid In Town", "Peaceful Easy
Feeling", "End of the Innocence", "Take it to the Limit",
"One of These Nights", "Wasted Time Reprise", "Victim
of Love", "In The City", "Already Gone", "Pretty
Maids", "Get Over It", "Rocky Mountain", "Heartache
Tonight", "James Dean", "Life In The Fast Lane", and
of course "Hotel California" and "Desperado".
Desperado are ready to let all of you love them!…
