Hailing from Boston
Massachusetts via Berklee School of Music, The Driftwood Citizens were originally
a blues band. They played all the classic blues songs, from Freddy King to the
Allman Brothers, but in time became engulfed by many styles of music -including
funk, rock, soul, and jazz. These different sounds have since made their way
into the band's original music, creating a new and exciting style that is based
in tradition. But whatever they play, you can guarantee it will be tight, inspirational
music with just enough grease to loosen your body and free your mind.
