MUDDY WATERS

4th ANNUAL
TRIBUTE SHOW
WITH JOHN O'LEARY & ALAN GLENN ALL STARS
The 4th Annual Tribute to MUDDY
WATERS is a timely reminder of the Father of modern Chicago Blues and
the later catalyst for the British Rock/Blues explosion.
It's 18 years since he passed and an amazing 53 years since he first came to
the UK. Ranked 17th in the Rolling Stone ‘100 Greatest Artists of All
Time’, Muddy was a much bigger influential figure than mere statistics
could ever reflect.
The Stones took their name from him, and he influenced a new generation of rock
bluesers from Cream, Canned Heat, The Allman Brothers, Humble Pie, Jeff Beck,
Led Zeppelin, Rory Gallagher, Steve Winwood, Paul Rogers, and even AC/DC to
his contemporaries like BB King, Chuck Berry and Bo Diddley.
Muddy Waters will never be forgotten simply because his music lives in the live
music of today, but John O’Leary and Alan Glen’s All Stars continue
to shine a light on one of the giants of the blues genre.
This year's MUDDY WATERS TRIBUTE features
John O'Leary, harp (Savoy Brown/Mainsqueeze)
