DANY GILES Band + BRENT HUTCHINSON Band + RED BUTLER
The New Generation Blues 2018 features Danny Giles Band, Brent Hutchinson Band and Red Butler
The 5th New Generation Blues show (2018) continues its mission to showcase
three of the best up and coming UK based rock-blues acts in one great show
DANNY GILES BAND aka DGB: The DGB is a marriage of classic and modern musical values; tipping its hat to the past, living in the present and looking towards the future - combining great songs, a great sound and stunning musicianship, all wrapped up in a modern formula.
The trio of Danny Giles (guitar & vox), Pat Garvey (drums and producer) & Jon Chase (bass) bring you their brand of full-blooded rock with a twist of blues, gospel and soul, spiriting a no nonsense attitude & paying very little, if any attention at all to any of the boundaries placed before them.
You can catch the band power trio approach on the stunning debut album 'More Is More'.
The BRENT HUTCHINSON BAND: Doing Between 150 and 200 shows a year both solo and in a power trio, self-managed Brent Hutchinson is one of the hardest working up and coming Blues Rock Musicians today.
Inspired by Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Gary Moore, Robben Ford, Eddie Van Halen, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Robin Trower and many other great guitarists, Brent is known for his explosive brand of Rock 'N' Rolling Blues. Which is also punctuated with sweetness and subtlety in just the right places. That special intense guitar playing is complimented by strong, clear vocals. With the recently formed Brent Hutchinson Band, Brent is taking his own music and profile to the next level.
RED BUTLER: Dynamic rock/blues band Red Butler is fast making a name for itself across Britain and Europe. Audiences instantly tap into the fire and passion generated by the young band from Sussex.
5 years into their career the band have had a significant reshuffle with the twin guitar attack of Dan Spellman and Alex Butler (lead guitar) supported by Charlie Simpson (drums) and bassist Mike Topp.
The tightness of the new line up owes much to the fact that Alex, Charlie and Dan played together as ColdHeat for 4 years from the tender age of 14. Fans, new and old, have been thrilled by the heavier sound coupled with the ever present energy and excitement which are a Red Butler trademark.
The influences may be diverse but the three bands package show is a unique blast of rock-blues power.
