SLIM CHANCE - the band Ronnie Lane formed when he left the Faces, is treading the boards again.

Original members Steve Simpson, Charlie Hart, Steve Bingham, Alun Davies and Colin Davey, joined by Geraint Watkins, are playing Ronnie's songs in the spirit of the band's previous incarnations.

Celebrating the heritage of the late Ronnie Lane (Slim Chance, Small Faces, The Faces,) Slim Chance play a classic rhythm & blues meets Americana set that includes the best of Slim Chance’s ‘Passing Show’; How Come, The Poacher, Last orders, Anymore For Anymore, You’re So Rude, You Never Can Tell, Don't Try To Change My Mind, ‘Don’t You Cry For Me’, Ooh La La etc.
Slim Chance features Ronnie’s original band; Steve Simpson (Frankie Miller/Roger Chapman), Charlie Hart (Ian Dury/Eric Clapton), Steve Bingham (Geno Washington/Colin Bluestone), Alun Davies (Cat Stevens/Ralph McTell) and Colin Davey (Chris Farlow/PP Arnold).
Ronnie Lane and Steve Marriott were one of the great song writing partnerships of the '60s, stretching from the Small Faces to The Faces.
Then Ronnie launched SLIM CHANCE: ‘one of the most ambitious tours of the '70s. A merry troupe of minstrels, travelling the country in caravans, accompanied by clowns, animals and a big top; Ronnie was taking his music back to the people’ - Uncut.
Slim Chance reformed briefly for the Ronnie Lane Albert Hall concert in 2004.
Now come the full reunion and a new CD ‘The Show Goes On’ celebrating the range of Ronnie's later music.
