The Missing Jewel in the Crown That Is British Pop Music

Stackbridge are back!!!
Featuring Clare Lindley on violin

John Peel favourites STACKRIDGE, formed in 1969, played the very first Glastonbury festival and have returned 4 times since. They went on to cut acclaimed albums such as Friendliness, the George Martin produced The Man in the Bowler Hat, Mr Mick, Do The Stanley.
By the 80’s the legendary live band had transformed themselves into the million selling The Korgis (Everyone’s Got To Learn Sometime), before a 2007 Stackridge reformation with the superb Something For the Weekend which includes such classics as Something About The Beatles & It’s A Fascinating World.
Unbelievably the band made it to Hollywood and have cut their best ever CD ‘A Victory for Common Sense’.
Brilliant, innovative, unique and featuring the songs of James Warren and Andy Davis, the 2 hour show includes The Man in the Bowler Hat, Purple Spaceship, Do The Stanley, The Road To Venezuela. Something About The Beatles the brilliant new ‘Red Squirrel’ and of course Everybody's Got To Learn Sometime.
