CHICAGO BLUES MASTER RETURNS TO UK

Steve Arvey a master guitarists of both electric and acoustic style, guitar led Chicago blues, is back in UK

Steve brings with him a top class band that includes members of Sherman Robertson’s tour band and the brilliant six string bass player Roger Innis who has toured with Jools Holland, Ruby Turner, Steve Gibbons, Adrian Byron Burns and Climax Blues band.

Steve Arvey learnt his blues with the best in the business playing with Bo Diddley, Honeyboy Edwards, Homesick James, and harmonica ace Junior Wells, as well as countless other Chocago blues names. Steve was originally member of Robert Hunter band in Floida where he teamed up with acoustic blues guitarist with Ben Andrews.

Having learned his skills Steve fronted his own West Side Heat for the next ten years. The band built up fine reputation and enjoyed a career highlight by storming the 1990 Chicago Blues Festival. Steve then diversified his musical talents by being sponsored by Harp beers and played Irish folk Rock in Chicago with Tommy Makem and Tommy Clancy.

Both a dazzling electric and acoustic guitarist and a gritty vocalist Steve teams up with the excellent Blues Move for his new UK tour to promote his debut European release "Live at The Blues of the Month Club" which will be on sale on the night.

Blues Move are:

Roger Inniss - Bass (Ruby Turner/Jools Holland/Climax Blues band)
Jools Grudgings - Keyboards (Sherman Robertson band)
