Formed in 1993 by Max Hunt as a duo, Tantalus has evolved into a six piece prog-rock band and a leader in the up and coming band scene of today.
Bob Leek, Nick Beere, Jason Tilbrook and Tony Wells join Max and his wife Gerlinde in an exciting line-up, which produces quality material in a dynamic and highly musical show full of instrumental pyrotechnics on at least fourteen different sets of instruments.
Tantalus are currently on a promotional tour for their new album ‘Lumen Et Caligo 1’. This exciting album combines their varied musical interests in a cohesive blend of rock, folk and classics and has excited much interest from their existing UK and European fan base.
There is added interest from prog rock organisations as far afield as Mexico and the United States, where a tour in early 2005 is currently being planned.
