Tracy Graham Band
Promoting her long awaited debut album, “Don’t look Down”, the Moody Blues and Paul Young vocalist Tracy Graham brings an all star band including the brilliant Ronnie Johnson on guitar, to deliver some stunning radio friendly rock.
Best known for her work with the Moody Blues and Paul Young, Tracy Graham comes to London, having just completed a hugely successful tour with ABC and Robbie Williams.
Described as possessing a big,guts,
soulful voice by the American Higher and Higher magazine, Tracy promotes her
excellent second album Don’t Look Now.
Citing her influences as BonnieRaitt, Aretha Franklin, Joni Mitchell, Shawl Colvin and Sheryl Crow, Tracy's polished soulful rock is everything you'd expect from a singer who has worked with Culture Club, Zucchero, Paul Young, and who has spent 5 years with The Moody Blues.
Her top flight band features guitarist Ronnie Johnson (Bob Dylan / Van Morrison / Joe Cocker / FirstLight); drummer Geoff Dunn (Elvis Costello / Roger Chapman / Shania Twain); Tracy's co song-writing guitarist Dave Goodes who ploughs his trade with Judue Tzuke as well as Jamiroquai keyboard man Simon Carter. The full line-up is completed by Worcester Park resident, bass player Phil Mulford, best know for being a core member of Steve Hackett’s band.
The band’s obvious pedigree apart, rock fans can expect polished original rock from Tracey, and a few potential radio friendly hits.
This is, after all, the lady described by Leo Sayer as One ofthe most versatile vocal talents in the land.
The new album will be on sale on the night, and watch out for special guests.
