Ummagummaa

A TRIBUTE TO THE EARLY YEARS OF PINK FLOYD

One of the few Classic Rock tribute bands to deal with the specific early years of a band's musical history (Re Genesis and The Rollin' Stoned are the others), Ummagummaa is a project that strives to recreate the early years of Pink Floyd, right down to the liquid light show of the time.

"We're are covering stuff from "Piper At The Gates of Dawn", "Saucerful Of Secrets", "Ummagumma" of course, "Atom Heart Mother" (the cover of which is used on our posters) and "Meddle". For long-time fans this includes by implication material written by madcap genius Syd Barrett, including "See Emily Play" and "Astronomy Domine"

Keyboard player Gonzalo Carrera has enjoyed working with the likes of John Helliwell (Supertramp), Glen Cornick (Jethro Tull), Hugh McDowell (ELO), and John Etheridge from Soft Machine. He is joined by drummer Geoff Cooper (Broken English/Counterfeit Stones), Ian Ellis on bass (Pete Townsend/Steve Hackett) and guitarist Chris Staines (Steeleye Span/Geno Washington/ASM) on guitar.

Set includes classic tracks from :
